Why Will Gearbox Make Abnormal Sounds?(Ⅰ)

1. Bearing wear and damage

When the bearing wear, the gap is increased, and the precision on the decline; when the bearing is damaged, it cannot operate normally, so it will produce abnormal sound, even cause damage to the gearbox shift components, resulting in expanded failure.

2.The gear backlash is not normal

The selection of low precision parts will cause large gap when the gearbox shift components are worn or replaced; too tight backlash when assembled.

3. The metal on gear surface flaked, tooth fracture, dislocation assembly.

4. The poor lubrication caused by lubricating oil shortage

It should be replaced with the appropriate lubricant.

5. Water in the transmission

If no timely maintenance, it may induce abnormal sound problems after a long time. To be continued...
