How to Distinguish Gearbox Gears?

When talking about the automotive shift system parts, such as the gearbox gear, can you find which gear corresponds to the D gear? Identifying from the outlet shaft, the gears are arranged forward from big to small, generally, the bigger the transmission gear is, the lower the shift gear will be.

There are three types of shafts in the gearbox,

1.Two-shaft type, the first shaft is the input shaft and the second is the output shaft. In the input shaft, the smaller the gearbox gear is, the lower the automobile shift gear is, and the bigger the gearbox gear is, the higher the gear is, while it is on contrary in the output shaft.

2.Three-shaft type, which includes a first shaft, a second shaft and a middle shaft. The input shaft has only one gear, in the middle shaft, the bigger the transmission gear is, the higher the car gear is, and the smaller the transmission gear is, the lower the gear will be. While it is on contrary in the output shaft.

3.Double-middle-shaft type has a first shaft, a second shaft and two middle shaft, it is similar to the three-shaft type, but own one more middle shaft. If the reverse gear is straight gear, the gearbox components will be complicated, and forms are various as well.
